The Brave New World

Curated by LIMINALSTATE

On Sunday 14 April, to close the Milano Art Week at BASE, the performance The Brave New World by LIMINALSTATE will be held. The duo – made up of artists and architects Saverio Villirillo and Gregorio Comandini – draw inspiration from the novel of the same name by Aldous Huxley, bringing universal themes such as human nature, technological progress and the meaning of happiness to the stage, offering the public a profound and engaging reflection on the future of humanity. The performance (in collaboration with Survival International) will take place within an ad hoc scenography characterized by technological architecture: a dense network of cables that connects performance devices, diagrams and projectors with abstract images and video footage of indigenous tribes , sound environments composed of environmental recordings, artificial voices and fragmented melodies.
